The weather is turning colder, and the leaves are fading to brown.

But that doesn’t mean we can forget about the lawn, neglect now could cause it to deteriorate over the coming months.

1. Autumn Renovation 🍁

It's still definitely possible for the next few weeks to renovate your lawn. Otherwise, it'll be 6 months-ish until spring when you can get it done. 

As long as it is looking like 10C on the horizon for the next couple weeks with no imminent frost then you're good to go.

2. Autumn Fertilising 🔋

For autumn we don’t want as high a nitrogen fertiliser like in the summer. 
 
This is because we want the lawn to focus on deepening the roots to strengthen it over the cooler period.
 
The Autumn Pack contains everything you need for the cooler period. 
 
Stock is limited. It's unlikely we'll restock this year as we don't like to have lots of our of seasonal stock left over. 

3. Iron Sulphate 🏋🏽‍♀️

This is a great product to use throughout the cooler period.
 
It will turn moss black to rake it out at high doses.
 
AND it will harden turf (medium dose) to make it more resilient which is perfect for the harsher conditions.

4. Mowing ✂️

Finally, as the lawn growth slows, make sure to leave it on a higher cut (let's say at least 4-5cm).
 
This will help it stay resilient over the winter period.

5. Falling leaves 🍂

Make sure to rake up any fallen leaves as quick as possible as they can stifle the lawn from sunlight!
